dirt bike vs. a quad

ok i already have a quad (blaster) and i was checking out some dirt bikes and i was wondering what are some of the advantages or disadvantages of riding a dirt bike instead of a quad?
i have no intention of getting rid of my blaster cause i love it i am just curious about dirt bikes, the one i was looking at is a yamaha 125.

i personally like both the same, but dirt bikes are a lot more agile, they are much easier to ride in the woods when your exploring and quads are a lot bigger so its a little harder in that area. but if you ride mostly sand pits, quads are much better for drifting and stuff like that. and i think dirtbikes are more impressive when you are really good at riding them. and they are half the weight as well ahah just my 2 cents

is the yamaha your looking at a 125 2 stroke or 4 stroke?

yeah quads you can have alot more fun on flat ground or open areas.

yz125? if so thats great bike, and its huge too lol something like a 39 inch seat height

all i know about it is that is a 1987 or 88 i might be wrong and it has twin rear shocks other then that i dont know much but yeah i think thats what it says on the seat

ok i went and seen the dirt bike again its really a 1988 suzuki rm125
are these good dirt bikes?
