Hey, on this basket case blaster i just got the swing arm and axle carrier are a different size, there not as wide as the other 2 newer blasters I have. Also the rear wheel bolt pattern is smaller and the hubs are smaller too.
If I want to use these ITP holeshot tires/wheels on my other blasters I have to change to the smaller hubs too...

What's up with that? Did they change that stuff after a certain year on our blasters?

This is the first I've heard of a thinner swing arm and carrier and smaller wheel hubs on a blaster.

Get back to me!! Thanks!!

someone else changed those if there different from your other blasters. The blaster hubs were the same from '88-'06

1988 was the first year for the blaster. The swingarms are all the same, except on the '03 and up, they added a piece of wire to help keep the brake line from getting snagged while trail riding. The only thing they changed on the carrier was the tabs for the hydro brake caliper to mount

LOL, I figured it out.
What threw me off at first was that the wheels and hubs on the basket case were a different size than on my #1 blaster. Come to find out that's because My #1 has banshee hubs and wheels.
Then I got all screwed up because I have that banshee axle and I was going by that. Turns out the carrier on the banshee axle is not going to work with with my blaster because the banshee carrier is about 2-3 inches too short to bolt in. I was measuring it and I must have been really high to have screwed that up.
I was confused. I'm just an idiot, lol
