Different carb

ok. Dont tell me im stupid or nothing. I have seen that small ditbike carbs will fit a blaster. Now i have no clue of which ones will, but this look similar to a blaster carb. It looks like it could fot into intake manifold and airboot( well to me it looks like it) the only reason i want this carb in particular is beacuse it chaep and i dont want to spend $200 on a new carb! i just want to know if this is a good one to try or not.

it will work, not sure if it will fit on a stock intake boot. you might need to get a bigger intake boot.

its only a 30 mm carb, i remember awk sayin something bout siliconeintakes.com? like is that helpful at all?
and cole yeah your right like im freaking out cause my damn airscrew for the tors delete broke off inside my carb and like i have a damn race soon so i though i would now wanna try a bigger caruretor.

some people carve out the stock ones, i personally wont do that. not sure where you can get a good cheap bigger intake.

YZ85's use a PWK28. It's probably about the best supported aftermarket carburetor (aftermarket for the blaster anyway) around. It's not a HUGE boost in throat diameter but you don't want to go up too much if you're racing on the stock 26mm carb right now, you'll give up a bunch of oomph down low.

I'm not sure about that carb but my 30 mm OKO fit just fine in the reed boot. I just had to mod the air filter boot to fit. Some say you can heat it to fit but it didn't work well for me.

Do you have a legit 240 kit.....or are you just 0.040 over? I don't remember Wiseco making 240 kits but I might be wrong.

If you are running a 240 kit, then I'd probably opt for a Keihin 34mm PJ if you want something cheap.

You probably will. You can also try heating up the intake boot and stretching it.

In that case, I'd just bore out the stock 26mm Mikuni to 28-29mm. If you want another cheap carb, you can pick up the 28 PWKs fairly cheap...at least easier than the larger Keihin carbs. Like shee said....look at 80/85cc bikes as a lot of manufacturers were running them on those bikes, or just look up Keihin 28 or 28 PWK.
