i heard some good and bad things about a dg pipe... since i dont have much money now im thinkin about goin with a dg are they bad ,ok or are they good?? there the cheapest pipe...

Stay away from DG, save your money till you can purchase something worth upgrading to. This is not much of an upgrade over stock, and running just the silencer would do, ummm, nothing for ya.

I am just coming off a full FMF Fatty/Powercore II exhaust, affordable, sounds great, tons of low and mid power, little light up top but good all around decent trail setup. I am in the process of swapping over to a full Toomey B1 setup, but my bike is getting farther from stock everyday and need a new pipe setup for my future project plans...

But, there are tons of good pipe setups out there, take your time, shop around and save your $$$ for something other than DG.

thanks bro... i was origanally planning on getting a shearer but noticed how cheap the dg pipes are... guess im gonna save my money and go for a shearer!!!

Just keep in mind the overall status of your quad, is it stock, lightly modded, etc? Yeah, there are very good pipes out there, like Shearer, but some pipes will work better on simple, lightly modded blasters than others. Some other pipes are geared towards the heavier modified/bigger fueled bikes that will take advantage of the pipes dynamics, etc. Sure, Shearer is a good pipe, for sure, but not to just throw on a stock blaster, that setup LOVES mods, and lots of um. Again, don't jump right in, take your time, shop around and make sure you do all your research based on your current mods and what you have planned for the future, for your blaster.

Rock on...

you guys are right but i like shearer....

It is a KNOWN fact, Shearer pipes are just flat out amazing, to say the least. But, they demand alot more air/fuel, which is not readily available in stock/slightly modded blaster form. If you plan to mod your baster beefy, then look at the beefy pipes. It always pays to do your research and shop around...

Very important, and save ya a helluva lot of $$$, to research before you buy, what pipe will match your riding style, mod list, planned mods, etc...

yep your right i plan on getting a few mods such as reeds air filters and some other little stuff...

For lightly modded/tuned applications, Toomey is probably the best bang for the buck. It will give you a drastic performance increase, right off the bat, and fit right at home as you continue to get into some more advanced mods, porting, etc.

Some of the more expensive/pro pipes will demand much more air/fuel, etc before you see major performance from them, like Shearer, LRD, Power Pros, etc...

ALL depends on what you have planned and how much $$$ you are willing to throw at ur blaster, there are so many, awesome combinations to come up with...

The beauty of the Blaster, no end to modding, just how I like it!!! I:I

id hunt for a f7/power pros ..dg is worse than stock..complete piece of scrap

i say power pros and toomey because you can have little mods done and it performs good. i have a power pro and really love it. its loud and have alot of power
