Hi my name is Burt and i just bought a 95' blaster it is basiclly stock but it has been bored to a 220, K&N and has a low grade aftermarket head pipe. I just did typical mantenice and it only has 6 hours on the rebulid. My problem is simple all the guys around me are rich kids who have there parents buy them whatever they want. So they desicde to all buy z400's, 400ex, and 450s. Now i have nothing against them but every time i ride with them its a kick in the teeth do to how they blow me out the water in speed sooo i was wondering if you guys could tell me the best upgrades with price and place to buy it. the sky is the limt but i would like to keep my quad MX!

There are 3 ways to make your blaster faster, that are very very easy. Buy an exhaust! buy a good quality exhaust, like a Toomey. Get some reeds, like boyeson or v-force. Then change up your sprockets. I have 14/40 and love it.

i just got a 14tooth front $20 shipped and a 38tooth rear for $25 shipped.
a good air filter and set of reeds should make a world of differance also. i wont know for another 2wks or so till i get the rest of the parts and get the blaster back togather

It all depends on what your budget is... if you got a good budget then a stroked ported 240 kit with a 35mm carb and a set of v force 3 reeds and a power pro or F7 or Trinity or CT pipe should be able to smoke the 400's and keep up with the 450's depending on the mods they have. Also though power is no good if you can't use it and with the crappy stock suspention on a blaster your not going to be able to use the power... you'll need to get at least a +3 swingarm and widen the front and back. Now if you play your cards right you can get a lot of this stuff on ebay a lot cheaper then buying it new. I bought nost of my stuff new and I've got around $2000 in my motor and suspention and I've got everything I listed.

K well im lookin for more for all over power sooo what would be better than the stock but not to top end or lowend heavy?
