ok so i was out riding the other day i have just rebuild my top-end .50 over but i did not re jet the carb is that a thing you have to do cuz it wasnt running as great as it sould have.. also it cut of in the middle of ridding i took the spark plug out and found two aluminum balls jammed in the spark plug what is that from?? i thought i have messed up the piston and rings again but it still has really good compression. so help me plz.

did you break it in? were the rings put in correctly? aluminum balls? something got melted....

pull the topend again, don't run til you do. rejet the carb.

i knew a guy that had that problem with the plug..u got some extreme heat somewhere..did u clean the sleeve walls out good before u put the piston in..he go the balls in the spark plug from the rings melting.so i would def take the top end off and check everyover..just my opinion

ok so i pull the head and everything is fine and i figured out the coil went out i dont knoe if it is from the metal balls or what but i need a new coil. thanks

no i did not idk where to look so how do i find out everything looked fined to me.

where wud the balls of came from could they of came from some bearings???
did you put the rings upside down??

no i did everthing right even tho im 15 im very educated with motors ha but i dont think so cuz they were too small. well when i smash the other piston a peice of the piston ended up in the bubble of the pipe and cant get it out.

i could be wrong on this.but if u ran hot and carbon balled up and got hot enough wouldnt it create glass like balls..

well i could try to get them out the plug if i still got it and try to find out what it was... well it could of got hot because the owner before me had turn the idle all the way up and i could not find out what the problem was and didnt know where the idle was and just found out where it was like today so it could of ran of because of how high the rpms are i just thought it was a card or reed problem.
