My buddy has a cylinder ill probably be buying from him.he got it from a guy. So it has four pins that go thru the fins on the cylinder. There is one at each corner of the cylinder as if someone drilled holes thru the fins and tapped in pins like what Ford uses on their calipers as locating/slide pins. I will get a picture up as soon as possible. It looks like it wont cause any problems with the head sealing. Have no clue why someone would put them there. Any ideas????

Nope not like that. Go farther out on the cylinder. They are about an inch or two from the edge of the top fin and go thru all fins with a hollow pin about the diameter of a cylinder stud.

they were on my cylinder as well. As long as your sealing surfaces are nice and flat they cause no problems at all. I believe their there for cooling purposes.
