Cuts out, acts like its starving!

1992 Blaster
it has a keihin carb, as far as I know the blaster is pretty much stock.
I've checked the petcock and disassembled the carb and cleaned it the best I could.

If I'm barely in the throttle, it runs fine............but if I keep it open throttle
it acts like its not getting fuel?!?!?!?!?
I've looked everything over, but havent solved the problem

If anyone could chime in.................that would b great

mine did the same thing, right around 5th and 6th wide open it would sputter. all i did was go from a 310 main jet to a 320 and it runs perfect. u could also try to adjust your float to allow more gas in the carb but u should just mess around with the jetting first

I have another blaster with a stock carb, so i may swap it to see if it runs out smoother.
I'm not sure what mm the keihin carb (pj) is but shouldnt there be an aftermarket intake with this set up? cuz right now its stock.......the filter looks old and dirty.
I'll give 'er a once over today and see if anything changes...........
