did you ever play the pure game for the xbox? well i was playing it last night an i seen the extended swingarm on one of the quads and i have to say it looked class. so i was thinking my dad knows this boy who can pretty much do anything with metal so i was thinking about getting him to extend my swingarm. is there much work in doing this? i have to get my engine mounts welded soon anyways so im just going to leave it to him. he would know much about were to cut the swingarm or anything so i was wondering have you guys got any pics for me that would show me were to cut it and where to add the other steal in? how long should i get it done? and is it hard to take the whole back end of the quad apart? what all does this involve?

Thanks Karl

You cut just about at the middle point. Then you take some rectangular steel that is barely smaller than the swingarm itself and cover that with plate steel or steel stock to where it matches up (height) to the rest of the swingarm. then weld it up.

has any body got any pics of where i would cut it at? i dont like the idea of that other link. is it hard to take the back part of the quad apart?
im cutting mine right in front of the rear ski plate mounts about 1" ahead of them using a cut off wheel then getting rectangle tubing to slip over the swing arm tubing extending 4-6" and mig welding it up then putting a couple cross pieces then i gotta find where i gotta place the mounts for the bottom of the rear shock, after i get mine built I'll shoot some pics
