well guys i might go look at some 400ex's 150r's this weekend just wonderin wat yall think i shud get if i buy one. witch one would yall get just tellin ya im not the best dirtbike rider. but im kinda gettin tired of quads.

Then get an 85 in what ever color. The 150r is a joke, more of Honda trying to force 4 strokes on everyone.
85's are badass little bikes for sure but the 150r ain't no joke..... Amazing bikes!!!

but thats also a huge cc comparison and the 150 has the clear advantage...... now line up a 150r next to a 150sx and see what happens

i have seen 80 and 85 beat 125s. the little 80/5 dont weigh anything.
plus the 125 has one of the worse power curves ever. there is no low end. get either 250, a 2 or 4 stroke.

why dont you look into a kawasaki kx100? idk much about them but they look a little shorter than the 125's, since your not tall enough. but i'm guessing they have a little more power than the 85cc class bikes because of the extra displacement. idk much about these bikes, but it may be worth looking into?

150f ftw!!! dont call me a puss. great beginner bike, good suspension, comes stock with showa forks and a showa rear shock, great stock tires, did rims and lots of good stuff. it would keep up with the blaster if i still had it. and there bullet proof.

but if you get one make sure its a 2006 or newer because the 05 and lower have a whole different engine and stuff. its like a 4 hp difference or something.

we are talking about a crf150r, not a crf150f... the 150r is a liquid cooled racing bike while the 150f is an air cooled trail bike.

Out of article:
"The 5-foot-4, 142-pound rider out of Havana, Fla., now has a record 13 combined national Supercross/motocross championships along with 127 event wins."

Ivan Tedesco is only 5'4 (five feet 4 inches tall) and 124 lbs... Dominated for years.

One of my good friends, started riding full size bikes when he was 5'1 and is now 5'3-5'4 and has a pro AMA license. He rides 450s like they are nothing..

Just get a full size bike unless you are 5'0 or under.. Which I don't think you are, are you?

Food for thought..;)
