This is the best Reed mod on a stock intake. Can be a delicate process and the sealing surface on the sides gets thin.....I shaved my cage a few mm and hogged out the Side walls. A safer and perhaps better method is to welda CR Reed spacer on the intake and build up the sidewall. On the outside......CR reeds ROCK! !!

that is what i did to my cylinder as that is really the only way to seal

i'm running cr delta reeds now i was running stock cage with boyessen super stock reeds carbon fiber now i am going to run cr125 vforce 3 reeds

So it's not a good idea to just grind down in the intake and bolt them on?

Grind down the intake and weld the spacer then it's a good idea

I have pics of mine and he is right about the sealing. I had to coat it all w copius amounts of hondabond then it passed the leakdown no prob. i have pics of mine on my profile. I dont know if it was the nasty triple port job along w the cr reeds but the build in my sig had the kewlest whiring sound after it was all together. Cant wait to build my next one..

I always wanted the vforces but sold it w the power reeds. I have a nice cr125 carbon fiber set for another build but Im leaning towards an extreme reed mod.
