Guys, I dont know if this ever happened to any of you but once in a while Ill be riding and all of a sudden the bike will just start reving higher and higher when im not touching the throttle and holding the clutch. The last time it happened to me, i noticed my tank was almost empty and when I put it on reserve, it stopped overreving. Was i just cause of low fuel or is there somthing wrong with my carb. Also if i want to put a pipe on my 93, will i have to change the jets in the carb or make any other changes to my bike?

yea i think i had the same prob before .. when i would pull in the clutch in it would rev up it would only do it when it was hot then i would just shift up and it came right back down ... yea if u put a pipe on u half to up the main jet, i would say like a 260main ..

many times this can happen because of heat, but if your talking that its revving like super super super high, that means you could have a cracked/damaged reed... or just a carb prob...

and yep, you are going to need to rejet if you put a pipe on, the jetting will depend on the pipe you get, some include a jet kit anyway, but many don't so you'll have to do some looking around to check what jetting you'll need

When your tank is almost empty the bike begins to lean out due to the fact that the flow from the tank to the carb slows. So when you went to reserve, increased fuel flow balances out air/fuel mix and bike runs normally.
