I have a stock 2002 Yamaha Blaster that I bought from someone, and looking at the engine I noticed it looked like it had been rebuilt previously. I don't want to blow it up, because I know nothing about how to repair a quad, so could anyone tell me how I could cool my blaster down faster? I'm having to take breaks every.....20-30 minutes just to let the header cool, and is it nessicary to let it cool every 20-30 minutes, or just every now and then?

y does it look like it has been rebuilt before?
and just make sure it jetted properly (theres lots of threads about it)
if its jetted right as long as your not in nutreul revving the sh## out of it for a long time your prob good

if its stock jetting is not a problem.

and after riding hard for a while i will stop about every 20minutes to give the blaster a break.

nothing to be worried about in this case IMO.

repairing these blasters is very easy though. nothing to worry about

nice thread hijacking bro,
but your gonna fry pistons daily with that pipe and stock jetting, get yourself a 270 main jet to start, bigger and work down is best, doing "plug chops" along the way, and always, always. always mix 32: 1
