Dose any one have a DIY or a link to a DIY for Making a compression tester?

I know you are in South Africa and I don't want to sound like an idiot as I don't know what you have availible in your area. I bought mine at Auto Zone for like twenty bucks. It is a cheapy but it does the job. It has two different thread adapters with it to fit most applications. You might also try ebay.

thanks for the info, we do have a Auto Zone here but I am not sure if it is the same as there by you but I will defnetly go past there and find out what one cost thanks I did not think of them

ok so I went to Auto zone and thay can get me one for R 120.00 +/- 17$ so now I just need to wait until pay day. thanks for the help
