compression check

hey guys im goin to my mechanic to get a compression check done, i have a question. does the engine need to warmed up? cause i have to ride it over there. or does it need to be cold? i need fast replies im bout to head over there

Either way but you might want to cool it down or burn your hands installing the thing.

doesnt matter, warmer would be better so the piston is expanded enough to hug the cylinder to give you a more acurate reading

hit up harbor freight for a 15.00 compression tester and do it yourself ,

well the nearest harbor freight is 45 mins away but next time im in knoxville ill get one

any 2 stroke owner should have a compression tester and a leak down tester in their tool box , now that I think of it , Imma need a 2nd compression tester because I have a Banshee , saweeet , trip to harbor frieght baby!!!!!!!!!

either way tends to read higher warm just had my topend rebuilt reading is 120

that is a little weak for a fresh rebuild but not horrible.
