color matching plastics

so im wanting to order a used 03+ hood for my 01 blaster. my blaster is stock yamaha blue plastics, im just wondering if i order an 03 and up BLUE hood, is it going to match or am i gonna have to redo the entire plastics to a 03+. i looked at a pic someone is selling and it maybe the picture but it dosnt look the same as mine but i thought they were all the same blues...please let me know

they should be same color but will look different if there faded.if there faded take some tire dressing for car and wipe them on ur plastics then take a couple clean rags then wipe it back off.it will make them look almost new.dirt wont stick to it cuz you will be wiping it off.i do this to mine

What year is your Blaster?Yamaha Did have a Lighter Blue color,(I have seen Light Blue 89'models)I am not sure of exactly what years came in this light Blue color however.I use Meguiars Fine cut cleaner on all my plastics to clean them up and restore the shine.This works Great! Just my .02.
