What brand of clutch kit do you guys recommend? Bike bandit sells kits by; Moose, DP, KG, Barnett, and EBC. What is the best brand to go with? I don't race or ride that hard. Pretty easy on the blaster.

Also how tough is it to rebuild the clutch with a kit for the first time? I'm decent with a wrench just got no experience and haven't done it before. Thanks everyone.

I have not yet rebuilt my clutch but I have took it completely apart, inspected and put back together. If you know how to turn a wrench you should be fine. From what I've heard on here the EBC clutch is the most bang for you buck. If you dont abuse it and dont want to spend big money on a clutch thats the one I would suggest.

i just bought a vito's clutch kit off of ebay for like 40 bucks shipped to my house....never did one before and i did just fine...took at most 30 minutes....clutch grabs awesome so id say its a decent deal....

Another guy on here pm'ed me and gave me detailed instructions on how to change it and said that if I do light riding and am on a budget go with a tusk so that's what I did. I've read that the friction discs are a little thinner than stock but if I need to replace the clutch quickly then I will just go with an ebc or barnett. For now it will do, probably will redo it this winter when I plan to restore a lot of what the previous guy really messed up.
