When putting the friction plates and clutch plates back on is there a certain way they should go? The metal plates have the teeth and each one has a round kinda half moon nub on the What clutch kit does anybody recommend?

You have to alternate the plates as they go in. Start with a friction plate and end with a friction plate. I believe one edge on the steel plates are rounded on the side. The rounded side faces in if I remember correctly.

I would look on rockymountainatv.com. They have a tusk kit for $40 or and ebc kit for $87. Its up to you what you get. Both should work fine. If your trying to save some money just go with the tusk kit. While you have the clutch all apart I would recommend getting a kit with springs in it.

Make sure there are no worn in groves on the inner and outer basket from the old clutch, this will make the new clutch stick.

Make sure you use wet clutch oil. Easy trail riding any clutch should be ok, but if look a racing spend the extra money, it will be cheaper in the long run, and change oil often if you ride hard or race.

Thanks for the replys they were very helpful. I ordered the tusk kit from rockymountain also ordered oil injection block off kit the have good deals and great shipping!
