clutch lever has no pressure?

when i pull on the clutch it has no pressure the clutch cable holder is off cuz the guy started a top end rebuild is this the reason

Well if you know something is already wrong. Fix it. Put the holder back on. Not a good problem solver?

yes that would be the reason, it has to hold the outer casing in place so the inner cable can pull the lever

no i jus wanted to make sure that is what it was before i put it back on cuz the guy that had it before had everything tore down before so i didnt see him do it i letterally have no experience with these things sorry for the aggrovation
