clutch issues

While riding a while back I noticed that the clutch was slipping, so I thought
no big deal I'll put a new one in. So after putting a new clutch and springs in
It, It is still slipping when you hammer down on it after you get going.

Any ideas? while changing it I noticed a funky looking wavy ring two disc in
I placed it in the same spot. what is this thing.

that "wavy thing" is a spring to help make smooth clutch engagement. you probably need to adjust the clutch. do a search on adjusting the clutch, there are a bunch of good write ups on here about it.
