I didnt see a post exclusive to clutches so i hope its okay to post here. When i bought my blaster it didnt have a clutch cable to test drive it i rode it without to make sure it ran okay. Anyways havnt rode it since. Got my clutch cable today hooked it up adjusted and adjusted, even tried turning the push lever with pliers and could in no way get the clutch to disengage when in gear. I pulled the "push lever assembly" which the clutch cable attaches to behind the stator. Well it had this huge divet in it about half the way up. I couldnt figure out if this was the proper place for the push rod to ride against or if it was just stripped out from years of wear or the dufus that had it before me tryin to ride without a clutch cable. Could this be my problem on the the clutch no disengaging? Do i need a new "push lever assembly". I attached some not so good pics, but i think it shows the problem. Any help or suggestions would as always be greatly appreciated. thanks matt.
