Hey what's good?

This is a stupid question... But I am curious....

I just sold my Warrior 350 For a blaster I just got like 2 days ago.Which I love.

Now, when the bike is in gear, (while it's off), It will not move if you hold down the clutch in. The only way to move it is while being in neutral basically.

The warrior could be moved in gear if the clutch was held in. Why not the blaster? or is there something wrong?

Not really.
it shifts solid. the gears seem good. Although when you shift into first from neutral, it just kinda moves forward about an inch, as if the clutch is somewhat engaged. and it kinda makes this "KLUNK" noise. Very subtle though. But after that it's all fine.

Just sounds like the clutch slipping. When was the last time you changed your transmission oil? If that needs replaced or is the wrong weight to begin with that can easily cause the clutch to act up.

Hmm. No. Haven't had time to change/check the tranny oil...
(buttoning up other parts on bike)

If it is the clutch that is slipping, might as well replace it. Later on though, when all other parts come in.
Pipe, A-Arm, Swingarm, Brake, and misc.

Will give an oil change ASAP and "play by ear"

I didn't say anything about the clutch slipping. A slipping clutch wouldn't directly cause this. I said that the clutch is either sticking or dragging, meaning it doesn't fully disengage when you pull in the clutch. That is just as likely caused by bad/wrong oil as it is likely there is an actual issue with the clutch.

If changing the oil doesn't do anything, the next thing I would look at (assuming the free-play in the cable is adjusted right) is the condition of the clutch basket itself. The fingers of the basket can get grooves worn into them by the clutch plates, and if those grooves get deep enough the plates can hang up, causing dragging.
