I have never heard of that. When you say you keep "blowing out" clutch cover gaskets" what exactly is happening to the gasket? You don't need to put anything on the gasket. Are your Phillips bolts backing out? Are you lining your gasket up on the dowel pins?

the bolts started backing out at 1st fixed that with thread locker. the bottom of the clutch cover will be ok for a run or 2 then the gasket breaks wears out or something and starts leaking oil

Could the cover have suffered any trauma at sometime?

There is a possibility that it may be buckled.

It is unheard of that a cover to leak, let alone to destroy itself, if is has a new gasket and properly tourqued,

Are the mating surfaces debris free?

Is the breather blocked?

Have you leak tested it?

sounds to me like the vent may be blocked. that would cause over pressure inside the casing which has to find a way out. it will find the weakest point.

it also could be damage to the case. there could be a very small defect in either of the mounting surfaces. check both very closely for a small burr or any other imperfection.

I agree with the vent being blocked. If it is for sure blowing gaskets it is the only thing that would make sence. However that cover could have iussues also and not be perfectly flat.I would check the vent,do a leakdon test and you should get your answers.
