Yup I can confirm both!

Manual says no freeplay and out of 5 I have, all move about a 1/4". 2 are new.

Cool!!

Lemme know if it has play in it. That play seems wrong, but, seems to be the situation.

:) I thought I was the only one that worried about stuff like that!!

Hmmm dam

I gotta say my first impression is zero play is right. Steel gear and aluminum cage, they ain't tight for long. Post up on what you folks think is the deal and top notch for this. The clutch is key.

I can tell you that the one on my Hinson billet proof dose not move... i did not check my stock one i have the hinson out.... makes me want to go back and look.... also FYI the EBC dirt racer clutch would not fit in the hinson basket???? dont know, it did fit on my stock one, but on the hinson i had to firmly tap it in and knew that was not right it would not have dissinguaged so rather than buy a hinson clutch i put my stock one back in.... the basket cost me like $250... What a waste I am deciding wheather to keep it around or sell it,,, if any one is interested in it Pm me with an offer, i could use the cash right now

well you better check your stock one,and for the hinson well you pay too much there is some on e-bay for 149 buy-it now price but put it in the for sale section at a fair price and you should sale it right away!!!I:I

part of the reason i may have paid so much is because i bought it new at a local yamaha shop like 4 years ago and just got around to tryin it out.... I'v been pondering puting it on the sale but, I also know that soon as i sell it I'll need it
