clutch basket install?

Going to put up some instructions in the diy section but need to know if you have to press the main gear in the middle in or does it just drop into the hole with the main gear?Some have to be pressed in i just would like to know.Thanks:-D

no it does not have to be pressed in. It is just a nut on it with a lock type washer on it. Comes right un-done with a impact gun.

i used a clutch holder. that way you can get the right torque spec on it when reinstalling. awesome tool, esp for as cheap as it is. comes in handy pulling flywheels too.

No you guys dont get it.Im trying to put a new billet basket on the stock gear.

oh well then i would assume that it is pressed on there and that you would have it get it pressed out and then back in.

you talking about the gear on the back of the clutch basket? cuz i forget if there even is a gear on the back.

yea there is a gear on the back.I will be installing it tomorrow.
