Ok, so I have a freshly powder coated frame and motor coming back from KOR my question is, do I have to ground some of the powder coating off on one of the engine mounting tabs? It's an 04 blaster and it has a black wire coming from the stator is that a ground? Any input is appreciated thanks

Ken would not make it so you have to do work like that, thats my opinion. Try it and if not sand it down,.

No no, I was wondering if the engine cases have to be grounded to the frame? I only ask cause the stator has a black wire coming out of it and the coil has a black wire that gets bolted to it. This wouldn't have anything to do with ken other than he did all the engine work

No it should be fine. Im sure the under side engine mount that is screwed into the frame will allow it to ground itself through those threads.

i like my engine grounded to the frame, sand inside the front mounts to bare metal

I had to grind the spot where the regulator sits, and where the coil mounts, I also chased all of my bolt holes with a tap as the Local jagoff I used to Pc did a bad job! Then I used the di-electric grease on everyone of those places. I have no grounding issues at all!
