Hi,

does anyone have a battery on his blaster that charges when the engine is running?

if yes, do you want to share a wirediagram for that?

i cant tell you now, NO ONE ON HERE has a battery on there blaster

i actually have a battery on mine thank you, dont be so quick to assume

the DT200 NEEDS to have one to run the powervalve....

you do not need a battery... p.s. FACEPALM!

why do you not need one?

maybe he wants one for more lights... etc, the stock stater cant support it, but the battery will allow you to use more watts

with that being said sytrex, find a DT wiring harness/stator and just disconnect the CDI, powervalve... etc

i actually might have another one laying around

A battery is a good mod if you have an upgraded stator and high watt lights.
You won't have any dimming and you could just run the lights without the motor which could be cool at night or just to have parking lights.
You could wire in remote control lights, an alarm, lots of possibilities.
I you want to run leds (correctly) a battery is required.

Heres a good DIY I found on the subject.

there is a good write up from a member named phragle that has the process to add a battery to your blaster, I have been thinking about doing this in the future, but money and time has prevented me from doing this so far.
