chain tension?

I put this new chain on and idk if its tight enough can someone help me know if its too loose or to tight?

I set mine so that it has about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch of slack without me on it. Can't remember what it should be from the factory.

Yes when your shock compresses from hitting a rut or whoop it tightens up the slack on the chain

kinda like a chain that is to tight on a yz125/250 till you hit a triple jump and thump the ground and chain stretches
