I just bought a +4 swing arm and I know I'm going to have to get a longer chain now but where and what kind of chain is good to get. Also what size and type will I need to get now.

Thanks

Just buy an heavyduty non Oring KMC chain. You'll have to cut it down to fit, but an Oring chain has to much drag for the little blaster. I also bought a chain breaker to assit with the job.

Well when a stock blaster is only rated at 18.5 horse you dont need any more drag than neccesary. I deffinatly run an Oring chain on my yzf450. Its up in the 50 horse plus range and you dont notice the hp loss from a Oring chain. An Oring chain will rob 2-4 horse from a blaster. Try putting the rear on a stand and spin the rear wheels with an Oring cahin. Result is that is doesn't spin very good, now try the same test with a non Oring chain. WOW what a huge differance . Trust me our quad is stacked and i woudn't have scimped on a non oring chain unles it affected the performance.

i get what ur saying but is it better to have a non oring chain?

A Oring chain is a little nicer and will last longer than a non Oring chain, but the Oring will cost 45-75 dollars compared to 15 dolla. Just go to your local dealer and get a heavy duty KMC chain and you'll love it.I:I
