Chain adjustment

Hi all.

needing to adjust the chain on my blaster, but confused. I have seen online in text and vidos to adjust engine with rider on the quad. but in manual it says to left the rear end off the ground.

Whats the right way to adjust the chain?

Adjust the chain to where u think u will need it then sit on the quad and while still sitting on the quad reach down to move the chain up and down...should be 1 1/2 inches or 40mms of slack with u on there
