hey guys... i know you all will know... whats the best/brightest lightbulb for the stock headlight... without going into the really expensive bulbs...

I think you've got it!!
Don't run any chinese junk that claims to put out 1,000,000 watts while only drawing power compareable to 35w. Those things are junk.
You can get different lights and mount them up but have to keep them under 50 or 55watts. Two fog lights can work. Anything more and you need a bigger stator.
Another method for more light is a nice LED head lamp. I was riding around the other night with one on when my head light burnt out!!
