Hey guys...so my crank blew, and since im getting that replaced...im going to replace the piston too. Im wondering..when I get the motor back...will I need to do the break in procedure?

Yep.
And you'll also want to check the cylinder. If it's within spec for a stock piston, just have it honed. If not, they'll bore it out to the next size and then hone it.
