Hi , I am rebuilding the bottom end on my 2001 blaster and I'm not sure if this is the right place but I have a few questions. I was looking at the vitos +3mm crank and ordering main bearings and I was wondering what you guys thought. I've searched around but can't seem to find the right thread. Also, I'm not gonna do a +4 cause I'm only 15 and don't want to have to send the cases out to get trenched and all that. So should I order the +3mm and the seals and bearings from kenoconnorracing or look elsewhere? Thanks

The +3 crank does reguire some grinding to clear the rod. I would just stock with the stock crank for now. You will get alot more power from porting alone than a +3 crank alone. Ken will rebuild your stock crank, get bearings, etc the list goes on. Give him a call, he will get you going again.

We'll you see the problem is I just got the blaster about 3 months ago and started looking into it and It HAD a hotrods crank and the bearings were in very bad condition, but odd enough the piston and cylinder and everything else is in good condition.so I tried cleaning the bearings and that didn't help and half of the threads on the left side are mushroomed and stripped from the guy probably hammering it in and out.

What about this hot rods kit on Dennis Kirk I understand I will not use the base gasket I'm going to get an Oem one but do you think the seals and bearings are all good?

If the end of the crank is mushroomed than it's not worth saving it. Wiseco, hot rods, oem all good cranks. You will be fine with any of the crank bearings and seals with any of the 3 mentioned.
