how do i measure my cylinder to know the bore size ? so i can buy a piston kit

measure the bore diameter at an even depth per side. It should be checked in a couple of places at the top and a couple at the bottom to ensure that it is true. Ideally you would use a bore guage for this.

Take it to a shop. The tolerances are so small, you can't mess up.
