boost bottle

i found this on Power Brokerz website the seller of Toomey pipe this made me not want to buy one go to there site to read the rest its pretty interesting(This is also where the "Boost Bottle" argument comes in....

Yes, there must be the cross-over tube, but the engine couldn't care less how big it is.... this tube is used to communicate the volume information from side to side, not to magically "store-and-forward" mixture for later use, as some have alleged. Nor is it able (as far as we can detect) to allow mixture to be drawn from both carbs at once..... So the "Boost Bottle" as a performance product is a complete placebo and only serves the manufacturer's pocket, not the customer's needs. Beware of companies who sell this kind of thing, they are not being true.

Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is....)

The boost bottle is for a company to make a huge proffit off of an item that not only doesn't work, but can cause damage to your engine. The mount on your intake and the extra weight can cause your intake to crack and leak air.

let me tell you a story. i paid almost nothing for my boost bottl, its not even hooked up. just mounted. i think they look good. thats about it. they do nothing. i slipped the hose over the rubber nipple on the intake manifold, but still no hole.

its not even ment for blasters it seems. its ment for 2 cylinder or more engines like shees and sleds to regulate the flow so its matched. crossover tube system does the same thing. i dont see how it could do anything different other than make flow worse due to more room to have air turbulance. DUMB. it shouldnt be alowed to say it does anything good.
