bmw problem

my dad is looking at a bmw and the guy said that the motor but it runs too lean when its cold??

Could use more info like year and model.I had a 91 318is.That thing was fast!I would beat stock 5.0's all day.

I've owned my fair share of e30s and e36s. What's he looking at? Could be the cold start valve depending how old the car is.

brother has 318is....things run pretty decent for 1.8 NA motor. And he replaced his3
cold start valve last november...only reason i chimed in is bc his car popped into my head when i seen BMW...good luck bro
