well i was out riding my quad today and i go to turn around on the farm road and punch the gas and as soon as i hit the gas she popped a lil then came to a slow dead stop.... kike dit like 2 times cuz i though maybe idk w/e then i go for the thurda and she seized right up. Call my dad and good thing i wasnt far from home he came and picked me up and we popped my plug out and i had lil pieces in my plug sooo.... now i gotta see how much damage it rele did if its just the rings should i get it bored out or just hone it and put a new piston in it.

honeing isnt bad aslong as ur sleeve aint to bad but if u bore it only go next size dont go jumping up a bunch looking for a powergain

well u clearly need a top end rebuild, check the bottom end for any shavings, and i hope your head is ok

yea man i looked at my head it seemed to be alright but ill take a better look tom. and yea i figured if i bored it i was only gonna go the least it has to be bored..... but ill take it to a shop to get measured first right?

Are or were you using the oil injection system or premixing? Why do you figure she "blew"?

ut i have rele no idea why she blew..... it was the original top end since 91 the only thing ive chnaged were the ringsa while back when i first got it but that was it.... maybe cuz i had a leaky head gasket and sh*t

well i tore the jug off today and to my surprise the exhaust side of my piston shattered and now i need to split my cases to clean the rest out.... any ideas.... and therers a nice gauge on the exhasut port side will they be able to fix that with a bore or will i need a new sleeve?
