blown rigs or what??

I was riding last weekend and my blaster petered out and would idle but would die as soon as i got er in gear and took off..by the time i got back by the house(pulled by another quad) i changed my plug out and tried again. she is smokin something fierce and i have to hold it wide open to stay running and is not revving up at all it just takes wide open to keep going. i put it in first holding the throttle wide open and putt along about 5mph smokin like crazy. i noticed oil under it today and got to looking and it seems like it is comin from around where the exhaust bolts up. any ideas??

sounds like you are running rich (too much oil)

clean your carb.. you may have a jet clogged. also, you may not be getting enough air or a good hot spark.

1. check ratio
2. clean carb
3. clean / check air filter
4. clean carb again
5. brand new plug

thanks i will check it out i know my plug still looks good and i mixed the excact 4 oz. to the gallon and i did try leaning it out a little but i am gonna go check er out now and let u know what happens. thanks again bud
