Blater not shifting into gear

Ok so i just bought a new blaster im not really good with bikes as this is my first bike yet. it starts and runs but when i go to shift it clicks but it does not actually shift and it just stays in nutral. any suggestions?

Shifter tight on shaft? Same wether you try first or second?
Might have to pull clutch cover and inspect external shift mechinism.

A little slack in clutch cable ?

The clutch actuator pointer is aligned with the notch on case ?

the dots are aligned on inner clutch boss and pressure plate.
