I have a yamaha blaster that wont start, the quad has a new carb, has a new top end, gets gas, reeds and reed block look to be good and also it gets spark any idea why it wont run also when i tried pop starting it the quad just bogged out really quick when hit the throttle the quad only stayed on by the movement

Pretty hard to plug chop if it doesn't run
Brand new carb or new to you? What jets are in it? Did you check float height?
What does plug look like after trying to start it?
Check flywheel key.
Is TORS disabled?

Leak test

/\ those !

reeds good, all 4 petals intact ?
tried new B8ES plug ?
exhaust/intake not blocked ? (rag left in after rebuild, mouse nest, ect)
carb and all jets cleaned ? pilot too ?
airscrew at 1.5 turns out to start ?

compression test = ?

Carb is brand new, spark plug is new and ok the carb is pushing out gas because when i took it off to check the reeds the read block and reeds had gas all over it, i also took exhaust off to check if it was blocked and still didn't run, how do i check float height

Still need to check jet sizes, both main and pilot. Even if it were sold specifically for a Blaster, it might only have stock 220 M. If you have any mods it will be to lean.

Have to look in manual, or use forum search if someone doesn't post a link.
