I have a 1991 Yamaha blaster, it get spark, the fuel line is good, but it just won't kick over. Any ideas?

i'd do a compression and leakdown test,
then check the reeds, either by removing the carb and looking into the intake with a flashight, or removing the intake itself < be sure to use some yamabond or permatex ultra copper on both sides of the gasket when reinstalling it, and torque to spec in incremental criss cross pattern. then leakdown test again after the sealant cures

sounds like a bigger problem then it wont kick over... mines didnt kick over found out the piston and crank was busted... i would definately do a LEAK DOWN TEST and COMPRESSION CHECK before u attempt to do anything. IF all that checks out okay and if you are mechanically inclined i would take off the head/cylinder and inspect. to me it sounds like were going to be seeing another rebuild :D

Rather than take the head and jug off, pull the exhaust pipe off and look up the port the inspect the piston and rings for damage.
