Alright I'm new to this blaster scene had major problems with bike everything from plugs to Carburetion now I believe it's the crank case vent hose when I ride the bike it looks to leak oil guy I bought it from had it bent in halfand zip tied together I noticed there was oil on the top of the case below it I moved it with my finger and air begin to come out with a mixture of oil from what I've read I am under the influence that it is supposed to remain open or does it run somewhere also it feels like I only get partial power band I replaced the reeds I'm using Boyesen proSeries reads ran better but still feel like it's lacking power I believe it's the stock needle jet and the guy that I bought the blaster phone says that there is a bore kit in it board 40 over any tips or anything be appreciated thank you

welcome to BF.

air/oil being forced out the transmission vent suggests the right side crank seal is blown and leaking crankcase pressure into the clutch/trans area (the crank and clutch/trans area are seperate on 2 strokes)
you really need to do a leakdown test before running it again to prevent a piston meltdown from running lean, as if it's blowing pressure out, it's also sucking air in creating a lean condition in the cylinder.
that vent line is supposed to cross over above the carb and run up the frame rail to under the hood, to help protect from water/dirt entering.

here's a thread on building/using a leakdown tester.

or I have them if you'd like to purchase one

Damn that would suck do I have to crack the case in this bike to get to that seal? And I'll probably order one on Thursday when I get paid

All you need to do is pull the side cover off. You will need a few special tools to replace the seal. You will need a clutch basket holder to get the nut off. And it wouldn't be a bad idea to change the flywheel side as well. If you do that side you'll need a flywheel puller.

That isn't to bad thank you now just got to figure out this carb situation lol

gotta get that bad seal/airleak (if it has one), fixed before any carb tuning can be done successfully

Crank seals are the most cost effective preventive maintenance you can do. Unless you know when they were replaced, the very newest they could be is 9 yrs old, 27 for an 88.

yea I've parked it now until I can figure out and fix exactly what's wrong don't want to push it and have to fix more otherwise preventable things there like 20 bucks on eBay lol
