ok i jus got my new blaster about a week ago. after i cleaned the carb it ran great. but when i rode it around a little bit i noticed when i stopped and let it idle the idle would jus grow and grow. id go into first to knock it down then when i pulled the clutch in the idle would start growing till id have to shut it off or continue riding. its bored .20 with boyesen power reeds and a full fmf gold series power core 2 pipe. all cable r in good shape and the slide in the carb goes all the way down. ive put the idle way down but all tht seems to do is make it so it dnt idle when its cold or warming up. not looking forward to it if its an air leak maybe?

do you have the stock size main jet? and you definetly have an airleak. which means that air is getting in where it is not supposed to be in the engine causing a lean condition. (AKA over heating) NOT GOOD!

yes im pretty sure i have the stock main jet. wht do i do for an air leak?
the spark plug reading shows about perfect though? so it doesnt seem to be running lean

alright ill look into jets. but i jus checked and the spark plug is a grey color..kinda weird

grey=lean

get jets from 260-300, start rich and work down.

check the intake boot for cracks and make sure the carb cap is tight
