Blaster growing up like big brother

I've read that the Banshee's front shocks aren't a huge improvement. but what about the the rear shock. how much better is it going to be compared to the stock one I'm about 190lbs. and it sags down good but it's hardly stiff at all what should I do, take the shocks off of my dads old banshee and try them out?
My dads banshee is a 87 and my blaster is an 02

iirc the banshee rear doesn't fit the blaster. and the banshee fronts will be an improvement over the stockers although not much.

rear shock snag up a 400ex one, just about everyone on here runs a 400ex rear, they are a cusiony ride and a HUGE improvement over stock

The Shee shock is too short to help anything. It measures 13.5" vs the stock Blasty's 15".

Thanks guys I'll just make it stiffer for now or try a Honda 450R shock later if I'm really lucky
