I just bought a Yamaha blaster to fix up and it came with a gutted stock pipe with a fmf powercore II silencer (also gutted) is this good or bad for the performance and will it sound like a P.O.S. raspy tin can

never seen anyone "gut" a stock header. but you should repack that fmf silencer, it will sound nicer, quieter, and that how it was designed. was the head pipe cut and welded back together?

Im not sure if it was cut and weld or if the welds is how the pipe looks stock... cause ive never seen a stock blaster pipe before

sorry for being a noob... but would the silencer rattle if it wast packed right or would that make a difference?
