blaster engine

I have been looking into getting a blaster lately and i was talking to some friends about it who ride ( one rides a blaster and the other a raptor 350), but they were telling me that the blaster engine needs alot of work and needs to be rebuilt alot. What are your guys opinions about this and how often do you have to work on your blaster?

Depends on how much you ride and how good of care you want to take of it! they say you should rebuild every two years for the normal rider but it differs if your racing or have mods! And you can go by hours of riding to!

ya i have had my blaster for a little more then a year and havent had any problems engine wise

i rebuild mine every six months..well i have done that on all my 2strokes call me wierd but thats what i do.And it all depends on how well u take care of it u will have problems with any quad if u beat the piss out of it and do little matinece..same for anything with moving parts and an engine
