Blaster engine sound

Being my first 2 stroke and all I was wondering if my blaster knock should sound like this? It sounds exactly like this video. The blaster seems to be louder than other 2 strokes ive heard. I know I asked a similar question before, but this is the perfect example of what I was talking about.

it normally means that its getting close to rebuild time....

I went to 92 octane and it got somewhat quieter. I checked all the rod slop and everything with a caliper and everything within spec, and got like 140 psi. Ive watched quite a few running vids and beginning to think maybe its common.

you can hear the knocking more on blasters with stock pipes.....

It does seem some pipes must cover the sound, some seem loud others hardly noticeable. I have at least 20 hours with it sounding like this, so something would have probably broke by now if there was a problem.

ticking sound

I have a 2000 blaster that ticks like yours there is nothing wrong with it mine has been doing since it was new I put a full dg exhaust on it and it got louder but still have not had any problems with it

no its not suppose to do that.mine did it and then my piston ended up braking like 2 months later.i just rebuilt it and it doesnt knock anymore

It probably wont knock with a fresh top end, but when its fully broke in i think it should sound like that. I now understand why 4strokes have solid wrist pins and 2 strokes have bearings on them. Probably 9/10 youtube blaster vids sound like mine, now im the least bit worried.
