blaster dual exhaust?

So im in the process of a ground up rebuild and was going threw some mod ideas, if i run a dual silencer will i loose any power? I dont really care about gaining power with this mod as its more for looks but i dont want to do it at the cost of power!! Now just a rough idea of the set up, i plan to have a small pipe with a y joint to extend the exhaust and have the pipe leading to the other silencer run on an angle under the subframe. Any clues as to what might happen would help

well your adding extra weight and complexity to your build it might not rob power but adding weight is just as bad as taking power it certainly won't add any power

5 lbs should not effect the power. Im just about 170 lbs myself i cant see it making much of a difrence if any at all

power to weight ratio determines speed and acceleration it may not be much but it's there if you think it looks good and you wanna have something different i say why not

Im more worried about the air flow threw the quad. If this mod in some way restricts it i wont do it. Weight is not a problem theres always weight that can be taken off in other areas if it is effecting the ratio that much.

it can be done

BUT (there is always a but)

you will have to remove the stock air box. if you buy an aftermarket shock, it will probably need a remote rezzie depending on how you run the pipe

anything can be done with time and money, if you want the exhaust to run out the frame rails, it can be done lol

so look at the frame and decide where you want the pipe run. take off the rear plastics to have the idea of how much room you could have without the stock airbox

do you ride in a lot of wet areas? if so, removing the airbox may not be the BEST idea, but making or buying a different one could assist you
