Not sure if this is the right section, but here it goes. I was trying to fix my girlfriends little brothers bike, when I noticed there was a black wire hanging from the carb area. I'm assuming this is a ground, and wondering if it could be the reason it isn't starting. I have changed the plug, cleaned the carb and the compression seems to be pretty high still so I ruled out piston/rings. Where does this wire go and could it be the problem? any help would be greatly appreciated.
