i have a 36mm Mikuni snowmobile carb on my rotax 503 in the golf cart and a 36 mm is way to small for that 500cc 2 stroke twin so im thinking ill get a bigger carb for it and throw the 36mm on the blaster. will this be to big? i will have it ported for it and it will have an lrd pipe and reeds as well. any advice would be greatly appreciated. and yea, i know ill need a new manifold. vitos sells one for 34mm that i could fit this 36 on no prob.

more specs on the carb- its a 36mm round slide mikuni off of an everest 500 sled, its on my rotax 503 right now feeding it with a 320 main jet which leads me to believe that this carb is a tad big for the blaster but on the other hand it is way small for what its currently on...

the reason i ask is becasue i can get a 38mm for 30$ on ebay and if i can use the 36 on the blaster that would be awesome...

i think the ct sonic 240 kit might have had a 36mm carb with it. i gusse u can always rejet if needed

The 36 will work, little big though. I'm not sure what it is but we have heard that sled carbs sometimes are tough to get to work on a quad. Something about there is a part that is not needed for one or the other.

That's what I've heard form a guy that builds both.

i had a 38mm on mine. running gas, and a drag port.

huh,, its been a long time since i rode this thing.. 1 1/2 years, becuse i sold me transmission ..
but about to get the beast running again..

but yeah srry to get off topic i had a 38mm cr250 dirtbike carb on mine.
